Give a gift of charity for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and instead of flowers, consider making a donation to Polaris Project in her name.  A donation to Polaris Project gives both of you the chance to take part in the movement to fight human trafficking and modern-day slavery. As little as $13 can provide one hour of hotline services, which will pay a specialist to answer calls coming in from across the country on the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline. You and the woman you are honoring can be part of a service that saves lives every year. In 2009, nearly 1,000 potential victims were helped through the hotline and many more community members got the information they needed to help make a difference.
